Why does the HE keyboard not work as a controller, or the Xbox controller is recognized but why doesn't it work properly?

The following methods apply for Windows system users.

Method 1:

1. Download the tool [[Hall_Matrix_Test.exe]](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0059/0630/1017/files/Hall_Matrix_Test_Release.exe?v=1734400490) and run it as administrator.
2. Uncheck Xinput, and the software will clean up the registry list.

1. Unplug and plug the keyboard USB cable back in. Your Xbox controller can work normally.

Note: If you need to use the keyboard as a controller, you need to recheck XInput and restart the computer.

Method 2:

1. Turn on the Xbox button in Launcher.

1. Download the file [[Registry_list.zip]](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0059/0630/1017/files/Registry_list.zip?v=1739601277) and run it as administrator.
2. Enter the keyboard's VID, PID, and VER (firmware version) in the corresponding fields. (This information can be found in Launcher → Settings → Device Info.) If the firmware version is 1.1.0, enter 0110; if it is 1.0.1, enter 0101.

1. After filling in all the information, press the Enter key.
2. Unplug and plug the keyboard USB cable back in. Then your Xbox controller can work normally.
