When I press a key on my hot-swappable keyboard, there is no input on my computer.

Try the factory reset (fn+Z+J (fn1 for K6 and K12) by pressing fn (fn1) first, and then Z+J until all the backlight blinks three times.

And if the factory reset cannot work, then try pulling out the switch and replacing it with another switch. Then, test it again and see if there is any input on your device.
